Partners in Education Conference and New Models of Demonstration!

The 2019 Partners in Education (PIE) Conference in Nashville, TN was an incredible opportunity to network with colleagues and celebrate their success. We had a great time sharing about the Tennessee Behavior Supports Project (TBSP) at the vendor fair and at our breakout sessions. Several of our region’s schools presented at the conference as well, including representatives from East Elementary in Humboldt and Bartlett County Schools. We are proud to have them representing West TBSP!

Our 2018-19 Models of Demonstration and Schools of Recognition were awarded at the conference luncheon on Wednesday. See photos of our recipients below!

After lunch, awardees attended an exclusive, invite-only session where they were able to celebrate and learn more about their new designation within the Modules of Demonstrations- Schools of Recognition (MOD-SOR). Cameisha Emerson shard some of the great work they are doing at Bolivar Central High School.

Many of these schools were also featured at our state-wide Tier 2 Share Fair on Wednesday afternoon. Schools from around the state came to see the exceptional Tier 2 strategies being implemented by our schools. Theresa Nicholls, Assistant Commissioner, Division of Special Populations and Student Support, came out to show her support of our teams as well.
